Chippenham and District Artists are a group of professional and amateur artists numbering around 60 who meet monthly on the second Sunday at St. Catherine's Hall, next to St. Andrews Church, Market Place, Chippenham from 2.30 to 4.30 pm. At these meetings professional artists demonstrate different media and techniques and there is a short coffee break. New members and visitors are always welcome. Entry for non-members is £4 and members £2.50. Annual membership is £20.00, and is open to artists of all abilities. To join please contact Gill Minter email gill@gillianminter.orangehome.co.uk
We also run self help meetings on the fourth Tuesdays of the month at the Jubilee Rooms in the Market Place, opposite the war memorial. There is a different subject each month and always plenty of help and advice on offer. Tea and biscuits are provided. 7 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. £2.50 per session.
The group have two Exhibitions each year one in the Spring and another in the Autumn. These are usually open to non- members as well as members.
