The Memorial Hall is centrally situated in the town centre,within walking distance of the High Street shops. The Hall has wheelchair access and disabled toilet. Large Car Park and Kitchen facilities are: 6 burner hob/oven, dish washer, hot water urn, fridge, microwave and a large amount of working surface.
The Hall is centrally heated.The floor is kept highly polished for dancing. The Hall can seat 240 for functions.It has a good stage for shows/concerts. The Hall is a licensed premise and has its own bar lounge. Only alcohol purchased on the premises through the licensed bar may be consumed here. The Upper Room,is self contained, can seat 20 for meetings, discussions, play reading and arts & craft classes. The Hall has fire regulations and hirers shall comply with all regulations currently in force and with any requirements imposed by the Fire Officer. Availability & Hire Charges on request.
Licenced for weddings under the Marriage Act 1949. Naming ceremonies and renewal of marriage vows also available. Licenced for civil partnerships under the Civil Partnership Act 2004. It is a Polling station.
