We are a group of local people supporting a Ugandan orphanage. Bwindi Orphanage Development Centre, previously 'Bwindi orphans Group', was started in 1998 by local people including the current Director, Ignatius Byamugisha.

We are currently urgently seeking a sponsor for Amim Asiimwe, a college student who has achieved a place at college in Kampala studying for a diploma in Business Studies. You can see more about Amim and other ways to help on our website.

The orphanage runs a sponsor programme to enable more children to have an education. They have many plans for innovative and creative projects that will improve the lives of the children and the future prosperity of the community, including income-generating and educational projects. We aim to support the community and help them to make their plans a reality.
