Antrobus House is a very popular venue, and is well patronised by the local community for education classes, such as St John Ambulance, and exercise classes including Yoga, Tai Chi, and Sequence Dancing, Extend, and Pilates. The childrens' Jo Jingles music group meets here weekly, and the Amesbury Town Council, Amesbury WI and Salisbury District Council's Northern Area Committee also meet at the house every month
The house is well patronised also by young couples with their weddings. During the summer most Saturday's will find a couple and their friends celebrating their wedding with both the wedding reception and the evening disco party happening at the house. It is always wise to plan early for venue bookings for weddings and parties.
Antrobus House has full commercial kitchen facilities, including commercial cooker, Bain marie and hot cupboard, three underbench fridges, separate bar fridge, microwave and ample benches and flat working surfaces. The house also holds its own liquor licence, and our designated premises supervisor can provide full bar facilities at the house. Several local caterers work at the premises, and our staff can advise on disco operators, entertainers and other details for the special day.
