Wiltshire COUNCIL is responsible for dealing with lost or found dogs at all times under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005. The Police will no longer have responsiblity in respect of lost and found dogs.
If you have lost or found a dog, please contact WILTSHIRE COUNCIL on 0300 456 0100 during office hours. AFTER 5 p.m. and at weekends, please call the out of "office services" on 0845 056 8035 when your call will be dealt with by them.
However DANGEROUS DOGS are dealt with by the police. If you are worried about an out of control animal please call the Wiltshire Police on 0845 408 7000.

The K6 Telephone Box which has recently been repainted in traditional RED outside St Giles Church Rooms and which is now being converted internally with shelving to form a Book Exchange.
LEA & CLEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL 2010 - 2011
Cllr John Cull was re- elected as Chairman at the recent Annual Council Meeting held on May 18th 2010. Cllr Paul Fuller was elected as Vice Chairnman. All members of the Council form the Planning Committee. Cllrs Cull, Mounsey, Crockett and Fuller with the addition of Sue Bennett,Tracy Copson and Dave Hussey form the Jubilee Playing Joint Management Committee (JPFJMC). Cllr Brian Gore is our Passeenger Transport representative. Cllr Shaun Hunt is the Community Emergency Volunteer. The Allotment Supervisors are Cllrs Paul Fuller and Jane Mounsey.Cllr Mike Porter is the Neighbourhood Watch Co- ordinator for Lea village. Mr A Gill has kindly sgreed to continue as our Internal Auditor and the Clerk/RFO is Mr John Parmiter.
