Welcome to Magic Fingers... Therapies for you. My name is Rachel Bethell and I offer a range of complementary therapies suitable for all health conditions. Complementary therapies work alongside orthodox or normal medicine, and can aid the healing process. They are also capable of helping the client feel more mentally and emotionally balanced giving them the internal strength they need to cope with any kind of physical treatment.
The therapies I offer are: Reflexology: This involves a gentle massage to the uppers and soles of the feet. The routine incorporates the manipulation of pressure points on the feet corresponding to all areas of the body. A beneficial therapy for all conditions, non-invasive and thoroughly relaxing. It takes place on a relaxing chair, and lasts an hour. Indian Head Massage is a seated clothed massage, involving a range of techniques, applied to the whole upper part of the body, including scalp and face. Organic oil is also available for this. Massage involves Swedish techniques and is adapted to the client's wishes. This can involve a back, neck and shoulders massage or a full body, and can incorporate organic oils. Reiki (as pictured), involves a hands on healing technique to the client who is fully clothed. The body's chakras or energy wheels are treated. Please enquire with regards to prices and the duration of treatment. Pamper parties are also available on request, so consider an alternative way to celebrate and important event.
A little about me: I am a qualified Primary Teacher, and over two years ago, I decided I had had enough of not having a life due to the ever increasing demands and relentless paperwork. Therefore, I enroled on a Reflexology course and haven't looked back since. I qualified in March 2005, with a Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology as well as Reflexology. I then went on to do Reiki and Indian Head Massage, and last year, I qualified in Swedish and Body Massage. I am a registered member of the International Federation of Reflexologists and am a fully insured practitioner. I have recently achieved a certificate in Hot Stone Massage, and shall be practising that in the near future.
